Farmers Against Fascism

In February, Suhail Merchant and Tara Wight from Landworkers Alliance Scotland and HOOF (Hate Out Of Farming) wrote an article in Scottish Left Review. They survey the pressures on rural workers in Scotland, particularly those experienced by racialised communities given the rise of far-right narratives. They call for a redefinition of what it means to be Scottish in a way that builds belonging across urban and rural divides and does not rely on the exclusion of racialised others.
